It will almost certainly do that. Republicans use that type of material to "frame" their issues, so they can invoke compatible moral world views in swing voters, and in their base. They've been using this strategy for DECADES, unchallenged by Democrats.
Democrats have a better set of moral world views (specifically, progressive "nurturing" morality, and liberalism), but rarely ever even mention the moral precepts on which those world views are built, and almost never adequately frame anything. Instead, we usually react to the right wing talking points, repeating, and therefor strengthening their effect. And we call them reactionary...
I really don't know what it'll take for Democrats to adopt modern moral framing in our advocacy, but we are absolutely going to lose our country if we don't figure it out like this year...
