Self Driving Fleets of Cars and Aircraft
Sep 12, 2022
What do we need in American transit?
Autonomous, electric, public transport vehicles. Self driving cars and buses, that we don’t own, running like clock work, on our existing asphalt network, at high speeds, fluidly. No more endless parking lots. No more expensive cars, and car maintenance, and car ports for everyone. Just an app to call up a unit, get in and ride.
The same in the air above — autonomous, low altitude small and medium sized aircraft, for the longer farther, or faster trips.
That’s our future.
Why do people keep asking for high speed rail, just to copy what everyone else has, with all the incredible expense that would entail? We need to think bigger, and bolder, and stop trying to copy everyone else’s rail.
This is America, damn it. When did we all start limiting ourselves to just copying everyone else?
